Research
My research interest focuses on understanding how perceived career growth and employability skills develop among concentrators and completers of career and technical education (CTE) programs. I am particularly interested in exploring how social and emotional learning, combined with employability skills, influence the career advancement and postsecondary success of CTE participants. Additionally, I seek to examine the perceptions of career growth and employability outcomes for students in family and consumer sciences programs compared to other CTE program areas at both secondary and postsecondary levels.
