Research
My research interests center on examining the development of perceived career growth and employability skills among concentrators and completers of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. I am particularly interested in investigating how the integration of social and emotional learning with employability skills influences career advancement and postsecondary success among CTE participants. Additionally, my work seeks to compare perceptions of career growth and employability outcomes for students in Family and Consumer Sciences programs with those in other CTE program areas at both the secondary and postsecondary levels.
